Welcome to AfriCraft. By accessing or using our platform — whether as a buyer, vendor, or visitor — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use AfriCraft. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and AfriCraft Commerce Technologies Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria, operating from Maitama Extension, Abuja, FCT.
You must be at least 18 years old to use AfriCraft. By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. AfriCraft reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
AfriCraft connects buyers with independent African artisans and vendors. All products listed must be authentic, accurately described, and compliant with applicable laws. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, fulfilment of orders, and the authenticity of their crafts. AfriCraft charges a 15% commission on completed sales. Vendors must complete identity and business verification before listing products.
All transactions are processed securely via Flutterwave. Prices are displayed in your local currency where available and converted from USD at the prevailing exchange rate. AfriCraft is not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by your bank. Payment is collected in full at checkout. Prices may change at any time without notice, but confirmed orders are honoured at the price shown at checkout.
Shipping is handled by the individual vendor. Estimated delivery times of 7–14 business days are indicative and not guaranteed. AfriCraft is not liable for delays caused by customs, carrier issues, or events outside our control. Tracking information is provided where available. Orders over $100 qualify for free standard shipping. Risk of loss passes to you on dispatch.
Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they arrive damaged, materially different from their description, or defective. Return shipping costs are covered by AfriCraft for eligible claims. Custom or personalised items are not eligible for return unless defective. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item. For disputes, contact support@africraft.art or WhatsApp +234 811 690 3388.
You may not use AfriCraft to sell counterfeit, illegal, or culturally appropriated goods misrepresented as authentic African crafts. Harassment of vendors or buyers, manipulation of reviews, fraudulent chargebacks, or misuse of the Heritage Points system are grounds for immediate account termination. AfriCraft reserves the right to remove any listing or user at our discretion.
All content on AfriCraft — including logos, design, and software — is owned by AfriCraft Commerce Technologies Ltd. Vendor product images and descriptions remain the property of the respective vendors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from AfriCraft content without written permission. By uploading content, vendors grant AfriCraft a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.
AfriCraft is a marketplace platform and is not a party to transactions between buyers and vendors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfriCraft's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the value of the transaction in dispute. AfriCraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
